FLEX International Ventures specializes in the transport of Boats, cars and motorcycles. We will ship any item to any major port in the world. In addition to the transport of vehicles and boats we also ship packages and odd size items.

Boats

 

International boat shipping has become one of our strongest markets

 

Depending on the size of the boat, it can be shipped over seas three ways.  

Closed container, (for boats up to 20 feet depending on the beam)

Roll-on roll-off ship (shipped in a crate or on a rolling trailer)

Or ship boat overseas on a ships deck.

 

Shipping times usually takes any were from 2 weeks to 8 weeks depending on the origin, destination and the service you are using.

 

Marine insurance is optional and provided upon request of the client. There are 2 types of coverage: Total Loss (Clause C) and All Risk (Clause A). Total Loss only covers the cases when the cargo is completely lost, i.e. loss, theft, fire, etc. All Risk includes Total Loss plus it covers damages. Marine insurance is usually calculated as a percentage of the declared value of the cargo.

 

We can also organize inland transportation from the seller – private party, boat dealership, boat broker, manufacturer, wholesale fleet, eBay seller, insurance auction, exporter – to the closest warehouse or port of shipping.
We take care of all documentation and export formalities.

 

We will make sure you have all the required documentation well before the cargo arrives at the destination. You will be notified by a shipping agent a few days prior to the arrival. There will be destination port charges and unloading fees payable to the handling agent. We can always provide an estimate of those charges or put you in contact with our handling agent to get an estimate. It is also required to clear your cargo through the local Customs.


 

 

Cars 

Shipping cars is our specialty. All our cars are shipped via container which is the safest way to ship a vehicle. We have a professional crew that will safely secure the vehicle inside the container and as opposed to the Ro-Ro ships where you are not allowed to leave any personal items inside the car, we do allow you to fill your car with personal items. The car will simply be sealed in a container at our warehouse and no one is able to access your vehicle until the container is opened either by you or your agent in your home country.

 

The document needed to ship a car out of the U.S. is a clear title of ownership.

Motorcycles/ATV

 

Motorcycles and ATV’s follow the same guide line as cars. We have an excellent crew that will secure the motorcycle inside the container. No one starts your motorcycle until you receive it yourself in your own countries port of call. Motorcycle parts or gear is welcome to be shipped together with the vehicle.

 

The document needed to ship a motorcycle out of the U.S. is a clear title of ownership.

Personal Effects or parts

 

Personal effects or parts can be shipped in our containers and we welcome any size box as long as they fit inside our containers. Container measurements are 2.35meters wide and 2.39 meter high. All items/parts should be packaged in boxes or strapped to pallets. We will assist and help in any way that we can for over sized items.

 

Each item should be properly labelled and counted for on a detailed shipping list

This will help us when loading and also be necessary for yourself when it is being declared in your home country. See Norwegian customs icon at home page for more information on personal effects and Norwegian customs requirements.
